BE THE LOVE AND CHANGE THE WORLD The Time is Now!

BE THE LOVE AND CHANGE THE WORLD--The Time is Now!
   By Janise Eckman Wooten

We all share our inner treasures and resources with others through our strengths, and even sometimes through our weaknesses. Have you ever felt so weak and alone in your sharing and wondered if what you have planted and cultivated in life will grow fruit? Can people make a difference anymore or are we all helpless, driven about, purposeless, wandering in strange paths and controlled by circumstance? I know you are on this earth right now for reasons that are important and that you are making and will make a difference! We will make a difference as this millennium continues to unfold in its glory and beauty upon this earth!

One seed at a time grows together with other seeds, searching together for the light. They all grow together into fruit that is beyond the imagination in the joy it brings!  It all begins with a little quite ordinary seed and grows eventually into a garden of Eden like Oasis to fill the whole world!

I often feel like that little quite ordinary seed, but one that sometimes didn't quite fit in just right.

How very much we need to love each other right where we are!  And as we do, we grow and learn so much! We learn especially from those who have different bodies of knowledge and experience from us! I have a magnificent friend for example who is Buddhist. He teaches me so much about having inner peace and doing what I like to call,"burying our weapons of war for peace". And what weapons do we have and use on a regular basis? Sometimes our words can be weapons that we have used only because of habit and sometimes just because we simply haven't been taught a better way. Do we judge people who often drop The F bomb, for instance? I have dear friends who were raised in the teenage culture of F-Bombs. One such friend has learned not to use them around me and speaks my language, for the most part and apologizes if she forgets. That has been her way to show love to me; and my way to show love to her has been to not expect her to change everything but to love her where she is, in her recovery. At times, I have had to love her at a distance for my own personal peace and needed boundaries as she has experienced difficulties in her life that were too overwhelming for me. Now she lives next door and is my mom's excellent caregiver! It provides her some income and helps us with my mom's care which would be overwhelming for me, if I had to do it alone but it is not overwhelming for her! She has an incredible strength in elderly care.

We, in life, don't always pick our experiences but we are nevertheless blessed by them as we approach them with a sense of  mission.  Sometimes these experiences bring about challenges and delimmas and the answer is always to come into Christ and be healed! The Buddha found healing because he followed these higher principles of peace, in essence, the same ones Jesus taught. Gandhi led people to higher ideals also through those same principles of sacrifice of lesser things for something greater! Martin Luther King jr. likewise led the masses into new levels of thinking. Even people afflicted with the ignorance of not even knowing they were in the clutches of slavery thinking, were led to a "promised land" through King's sacrifice and peaceful protest against ingrained habits of prejudice in America that nobody had dared stand up to, making a line in the sand, saying enough is enough!  The original Founding Fathers of the USA (and mothers, who need to be included too remembering there would be no founding fathers had each of them not had mothers, plus other great things countless women did!) Great women like Esther and great men like Moses, sacrificed earthly riches and even crowns on Earth for a different sort of plenty that is unlimited, even Eternal riches, riches that cannot be taken away by any earthly means. For Esther, she sacrificed by being willing to have a temporary earthly crown that she never asked for nor sought for in any way, but to one day receive a bigger crown of greater glory than can be imagined on earth! These leaders spoke the language of love, not only in word but in deed. This inner light, they had, led their hearts and minds to dare to think, outside the box, higher thoughts as well as their hands to choose to move in higher ways. They were able to lead nations and throngs out of various manifestations of poverty thinking. the kind of narrow thinking opposite of liberty that dictates that people, like cattle, have to be numbered, herded, and even branded; that they have to be forced to do any good!

But what if a better way, CHRISTLIKE LOVE could motivate toward higher results better ever than fear? What if a softer approach could yield true joy? And what if many dear ones in this world simply have not been taught a better way, a higher way simply because they did not know where or how to find it! What if that better way has been right before us all this time? What if we already have it and just need to use it, to bloom where we are planted! What if all goodness, regardless of the current promoter, politics, or religion is of God? and what if the time has come for that goodness and rightness everywhere to be gathered in one? and what if any badness, around us and in us, could just fall away simply through our inattention to it.

I have long used the growing method called "square foot gardening" and I noticed that by planting what I wanted to grow in every available space within the garden, not many weeds had much of a chance to see the light of day. Those gardens took much less weeding than the gardens I tried to grow that were more traditional, with the row method where I would have giant rows of weeds and sqrawny plants that couldn't find the light of day.

An ancient Chinese principle teaches that the concept of inner and outer balance is vital not only to our well-being but to society in general. Ancient Chinese principles taught simplicity. In their culture, they were taught to live inner and outer balance in all they did and even what they ate. They wanted even children to understand how to eat and care for their bodies and souls. Each culture has its richness, its weaknesses and strengths. We can be part of the gathering of all the good and all the rightness out of every culture and way of thinking into one great whole!

What if we could let finding fault and prejudice, and the resulting division, die of its own accord by letting it go like the weeds they are, by planting higher ways in its stead? What if contention, major discord and even war could be a thing of the past? Maybe John Lennon had it partly right in his song "Imagine" but that because he didn't know any better, he thought that peace would have to come without religion or ideology. Maybe in his experience he had seen religion actually used as a weapon, and he threw the baby out with the bathwater, so to speak; but his idea that he imagined, peace in the world was a good idea, in itself; but can peace be won by force or conquest or is there a better way?

Jesus, Martin Luther King jr., Gandhi, Mother Teresa, Buddha knew so or, at the very least, hoped so!  Could it be that one reason these great leaders were able to lead people out of the bondage of poverty, of ignorance, of slavery, and out of deep spiritual sleep was that their consciousness echoed the collective consciousness of masses who were ready to change and just simply needed to be awakened to that change?

What if a critical mass of people in this world have become so good in intention and one in heart, that it is now time to be united into one while retaining our cultural, individual and multi-faceted diversity, according to God's will for each of us, as we feel called to a sense of mission in life? We have been shown, in this world--of late--loudly and boldly what division looks like and we are saying deep down in our souls a resounding NO THANK YOU!!!

Is it possible that we could learn the lessons of the great culture China, which over time lost so much richness, in so many ways, because of tyranny. We can refrain from any path that would lead to eventual bondage through any type of tyranny regardless of how promising it sounds on the surface to rescue us from ourselves through the language of entitlement, more social programs and force!

Will we--wherever we live in this world--like them, take chances that we will set up a system where we will likewise have to endure hundreds or thousands of years, of tyranny, to learn the sad lesson that they have learned?

Or can transformation be hastened in its time through our faith and prayers? Esther, from the Bible, was sent to help her people! Is it possible that each of us have been sent into the world at this time to be part of the change in consciousness that will usher in lasting peace that comes from the heart rather than from outside forces? Could we further empower the vision that our inspired leaders saw and sparked so it could grow like a beautiful garden of Eden, to fill the world, even in a way that we could not be kept long in the chains of those who have other designs for the human race; yes, even those who believe prosperity can only be won by government force through first the enticement of "free" entitlements, then, later the clutches of communism's heavy chains?

We have opportunity to grow that peace of mind and heart as we choose to be ONE in HEART as a people, while honoring our many-faceted diversities and rich cultural heritages, not threatened by those differences any more.

Although there will be turbulence along the way, Millennial rest awaits us! even a Millennial rest that has been foretold long ago. How long will our learning curve, as a society, have to be? Our world has already experimented with lesser systems that were implemented by force, systems that had unintended consequences of even further division, extreme poverty, loss of personal liberty, mass shortages and much death!

Could it be that some of the ignorant instigators of socialism and communism, with the "groupthink" that comes with it, actually--down deeply--really want the best but just don't know where to find it? On the other hand, I know there are some of them who promote such ideologies who, like Hitler, are either insane, power hungry, spiritually bankrupt or all three!

The ancient Chinese knew and taught, that we can actually attract the destructive opposite of what we really want if we through our ego push agendas that dishonor personal liberty. For example, through the very idea promoted in the name of "choice" are many tiny innocent baby's lives lost! How could such a wonderful idea as "freedom of choice" be perverted so deeply that the actual cutting apart, literally, of unborn babies right inside their mothers, the most sacred place where they came to be protected, could be justified and actually done by the millions every year?

Let's learn from cultures that tried the social experiments and are now experiencing or have experienced the deadly results of tired patterns of gross societal decay and moral rot;  in contrast of THE ONE THING that always works over time is the language of love, spoken in many dialects. Some of those "dialects"might even be unrecognizable as what they really are. They are strengths, in embryo, masquerading as weakness, such as addiction. These "dialects" are spoken by those, who like the prodigal son, perhaps had a kinesthetic learning style of needing to actually experience what he or she would be later teaching through higher example. Those who travel the road of addiction speak a dialect of the language of love that others on a like road can understand. Some might speak the dialect of chaos or drama. They pass through a cluttered road on their way to peace and order, helping others to have hope that they are never too far gone and are deserving of the highest blessings and can learn to live the higher laws that attract those blessings! There are no many dialects, but just one language of Love that transcends them all and brings them into one! It is spoken fluently in every culture by some who step onto the often less traveled narrow path. Jesus Christ knew and spoke that language better than any person who ever lived! We would do well to do what Mother Teresa, Gandhi, the Buddha, Martin Luther King jr., Moses and other great leaders and prophets did in both word and deed to love one another. Love Never Fails! It's time. BE THE LOVE AND CHANGE THE WORLD TOGETHER!
